    @TheASTAR88
    If I’m not mistaken, there is another client for qtorrent … Should be in the Web menu ?!?!?

  4. WAIKLOADER says:

    @amjadash2ar
    Yes, Amd64, because you have not a i386 CPU Structure and i think the i386 does not work on an x64…

    Only Programs and many drivers ^^

  5. OSGUIShow says:

    @amjadash2ar amd64

  6. OSGUIShow says:

    @TheASTAR88 go to properties and make it executable

  7. TheASTAR88 says:

    Hi mate i need help, basiclly im new to linux! (LOVE IT) i have this OS but i want to put programs like utorrent and itunes i downloaded the wine program but it keeps saying – The file ‘/home/oneill/Desktop/utorrent.exe’ is not marked as executable. If this was downloaded or copied form an untrusted source, it may be dangerous to run. For more details, read about the executable bit. ( when i keep trying to open the program with wine!? y is this…) get back asap

    Thanks

    What to download for my intel core i7 and running win7 x64
    Ubuntu amd64 or i386 ???

  9. Frankiewizard says:

    Cheers ! ! !

  10. OSGUIShow says:

    @SiggyMe AMD64 is for Intel too

    you see Intel failed to release a good 64bit architecture, they did, it was called IA64, but its now obsolete… AMD’s 64bit technology won the market
    AMD & Intel cross-license tech from each other
    so yes all new Intel CPU’s have AMD64 technology in them
    like how all AMD CPU’s have that crap SSE MMX intel tech in them

  11. SiggyMe says:

    I am confused, which version of Ubuntu 10.04 is for intel 64bit? What is is called? I see AMD64, however, where is intel 64bit? Is the AMD64 for both?

    Thanks

  12. OSGUIShow says:

    @jeroeniskoning yep

    the open source force is strong with this one

  13. OSGUIShow says:

    @gangstabadboy23 yes it can do all of that already

  14. gangstabadboy23 says:

    Im sugesting a new “Edit” of linux that can read Every File type and run .exe and .bin and Every linux and windows file. :>

  15. jeroeniskoning says:

    Ubuntu FTW !

  16. ve3tru says:

    OSGUIShow “go Mint”
    Personally I like Mint even less, the problem I find with mint is the there is a progression happening here. 1st Debian comes up with an OS then Ubuntu changes it, then Mint butchers it even more.That would be fine except neither Ubuntu or mint fixes the bugs, its left to Debian or someone else that works on the kernel. In Ubuntu 8.04 my webcam wireless and printer never worked, 9.04 my webcam didn’t work 10.04 they all work but I have other issues.

  17. OSGUIShow says:

    @luckyme247365 plug it in
    use it? no
    check hardware drivers ?
    google?

  18. OSGUIShow says:

    @ve3tru default apps is a non-issue to me
    synaptic is my best friend
    plenty of ubuntu distro’s with better selection of apps and themes
    go Mint

  19. luckyme247365 says:

    Am I the only one who doesn’t like it?
    Too much crapware, bloatware and bugs, anyone actually use Chat accounts, Broacast accounts or ubuntu one. Brasero(sucks half the time it wont work) Empathy(sucks confusing hard to use) Simple scans a good idea, but now its way to simple,they took out all the useful features. Did I say bugs, my screen flickers every couple of minutes and crashes my computer. 9.10 didn’t have that problem, and I’m not the only one with this problem.

  21. OSGUIShow says:

    @hzhou169 yeah you should do a backup of your files

  22. hzhou169 says:

    I have problem to boot up after upgrade from 9.10. I have to push or cut the power button 3 or 4 times before it can be booted it up. After using for a while, there? is no problem to restart Ubuntu. But if I left the PC unused for a while, the boot problem came back again. No clue how to fix it or reinstall the system. Will the reinstall erase the old personal home file?

  23. OSGUIShow says:

    @TruFelix awesome
    thanks for sharing

  24. TruFelix says:

    I installed Lucid Lynx on my Netbook and I must say: It’s the most beautiful and user-friendly Linux I’ve ever seen! Very good job and thumbs up to the progammers!

  25. OSGUIShow says:
